International Seminar

Ishām al-Hunūd fī I'dād al-Ma'ājim al-'Arabiyyah wa Taḥqīqihā

August 3-4, 2024 International Seminar

Majalla-tul-Hind, in collaboration with the Department of Arabic, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, successfully organized an International Seminar on "Ishām al-Hunūd fī I'dād al-Ma'ājim al-'Arabiyyah wa Taḥqīqihā" on the 3rd and 4th of August 2024.

The seminar brought together distinguished scholars, researchers, and academics from various institutions, fostering rich discussions, scholarly exchange, and critical insights into the historical and contemporary role of Indian scholarship in the field of Arabic lexicography. Both national and international scholars presented their research papers, enriching the deliberations with diverse perspectives.

Proceedings: We proudly present “Kitab Al-Mutamar”, the official compilation of the Proceedings of the International Seminar we organized. Published in two volumes, this work brings together the scholarly papers, discussions, and research contributions presented during the seminar, reflecting the highest standards of academic excellence and intellectual rigor.
